Quality Control
Brisco Wood Preservers manufactures wood poles in
accordance with CAN/CSA Standard O15.05 and/or ANSI 05.1, which cover
strength classes and physical pole requirements. Poles are treated to the penetration and retention
requirements stipulated by CAN/CSA O80.4 and/or equivalent AWPA standards.
The quality control criteria and procedures used by Brisco to test treated
wood poles also conform to these standards. Brisco Wood Preservers is certified by the Wood Quality Control (WQC) third-party inspection program of the Rural Electrical Association (REA) for Rural Electrical Cooperatives.
